Our Story
Volia Fund was founded by Ukrainian and U.S. citizens in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. When the war began, we felt the same fear, urgency, and responsibility that millions of Ukrainians faced overnight. We could not stand by. What started as a small, determined effort among friends quickly grew into a shared commitment to help protect lives and preserve the future of our home country.
From the beginning, our goal was clear: To turn compassionate concern into coordinated action. Today, Volia Fund brings together donors, volunteers, and trusted partners to fund and deliver technology-driven projects across Ukraine. Our programs support supplies assistance, medical care, research, manufacturing, and education — helping safeguard lives and strengthen communities during the war.
We work closely with reliable local and international partners to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most — quickly, responsibly, and transparently. Every project we fund is guided by accountability and measurable impact. Since its founding, Volia Fund has raised more than $2 million to support critical services and initiatives across Ukraine.
